Huawei has started selling the Y7a in the local market.
The device has been available for pre-order over the past week with those who pre-ordered it being rewarded with a free Bluetooth headset worth Kshs 2,500 and a year’s worth of 15GB cloud storage.
The Huawei Y7a features a 6.67-inch Full HD display, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a 48-megapixel main sensor backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and another 2-megapixel depth sensor to round up the quad-camera arrangement at the back.
As we had previously noted, “Like all of Huawei’s offerings last year, the Huawei Y7a arrives powered by Huawei’s own Mobile Services (HMS), its Google Play Services equivalent.”

The device is going for Kshs 23,000 and is available in various retail outlets across the country including Telkom Kenya shops.
