Safaricom’s All in One bundle now includes free 5GB for YouTube access

Kenya’s leading telco Safaricom in April 2019 introduced the All in One monthly bundle in place of Flex bundles and Advantage+ plans to offer a single package with data, minutes and SMS to all networks.

To make it even more attractive, Mother Green is now adding free 5GB of data for watching those crazy YouTube videos from the many upcoming Kenyan artistes.

Considering the rising numbers of YouTube users in the country, this offer should come in handy for many Safaricom subscribers who bought into the all in one bundle idea.

For now, it seems this offer is limited to the Kshs 1,000 and Kshs 2,000 all in one subscription plans (first and second screenshots from left), with the others remaining untouched. This means that to get the free 5GB for YouTube access, you must purchase any of the options under the two plans.

Looking at what other players are doing, it makes sense that Safaricom would come in with such an attractive offer, but it’s worth remembering that once the allocated 5GB data is exhausted, usage will default to your allocated package.
