Infinix Hot 8 is now available to pre-order in Kenya through multiple outlets at an initial asking price of Kshs 3,000. The pre-order window hasn’t been confirmed, but the company says the full pricing info will be revealed on September 26, which is likely when the phone’s availability will begin.
The major highlights are the triple-lens camera on the back and a massive 5000mAh battery. The Hot 8 is already available for purchase in some regions like India, but like the Hot 7, it’s possible the variant that will be sold in the country will be slightly watered down.
We can’t verify this, though, since Infinix Kenya hasn’t provided the info, but to Tech-ish, it is the 3/32GB 2/32GB model that’s coming over and not the 4/64GB variant we highlighted last month.
FYI, India gets this 4/64GB variant priced at an equivalent of Kshs 10,200, but only until October 30. The RRP, though, is about Kshs 12,700. Interestingly, the 3/32GB 2/32GB variant is said to cost about Kshs 12,000 in the country, but for now, you can pre-buy it for Kshs 3,000 and pay the rest of the money when picking up the phone.
Granted, Infinix Kenya will gift you a free Infinix Hot 8, 100 days of screen replacement or a gift hamper.
