Tecno has announced the launch of an exclusive club for users of the latest devices from its Phantom sub-brand, the Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro unveiled in Kenya last month.
“The aim of the Phantom club is to bring opportunities for top business owners to network and share ideas,” Tecno says in a statement.
Tecno Phantom X2 series brand ambassador Eliud Kipchoge is one of the members of the club dubbed “Phantom Club”.
Tecno’s Phantom X2 series keeps the tradition of the first generation X series of going after a high-end clientele, something that Tecno isn’t particularly known for in its history spanning over a decade and a half.
The Phantom X2, which starts at Kshs 63,000 at Tecno outlets online and offline, is the most affordable of the two devices headlining the series with the Phantom X2 Pro fetching Kshs 83,000, a high figure by Tecno’s old standards but one that, going forward, buyers have to contend with as the brand grows and targets new markets and customers.
The addition of an exclusive club is not exactly a new thing as Tecno did a similar thing with the launch of the first-generation Phantom X smartphone 2 years ago.
