Xiaomi has taken a proactive approach towards user concerns by publishing a list of known bugs and issues in the latest builds of both HyperOS and MIUI. While the announcement doesn’t specify the exact update version that will address these problems, users can expect fixes to roll out in the coming weeks.

Eight bugs have been identified across various Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices, impacting features as crucial as phone calls, system updates, and even basic functionality like the power button. Here’s a list of the reported issues as shared by Xiaomi:

  • Random shutdowns (POCO C40)
  • Bluetooth connectivity problems (Redmi 12)
  • Occasional phone freezes (Redmi Note 11)
  • App crashes for Mi Canvas on Xiaomi Pad 6
  • Update notification issues (Redmi 10 5G)
  • Inoperable fingerprint sensor (Xiaomi 12T)
  • Phone and Dialer app crashes (Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G)
  • System lag during gameplay (POCO X6 Pro 5G)

For POCO M6 Pro 5G (also known as Redmi 12 5G) users enrolled in the HyperOS beta program, there are two additional bugs that Xiaomi is looking into: camera screen flickering and a malfunctioning call recorder.

Xiaomi’s transparency in acknowledging these issues and committing to fixes is a welcome step for users experiencing these frustrations. While specific update timelines haven’t been provided, you can expect future updates to address these problems and improve the overall user experience on Xiaomi devices.
