The 2025 KCSE results have been officially released today.
The Ministry of Education indicates that a total of 993,226 candidates sat for the 2025 KCSE examinations in 10,765 secondary education level institutions. Out of these, 492,019 were male, while 501,214 of the candidates were female. The candidates were tested in 30 subjects, using a total of 74 papers.
Among these, according to the ministry, the number of candidates with grade C- (minus) and above was 507,131 (50.92%) in the year 2025 KCSE examination compared to 476,889 (49.41%) in 2024. The number of candidates attaining a pass grade (grade D+ and above) was 634,082 (63.67%) in the year 2025 KCSE examination compared to 605,774 (62.76%) in 2024.
How to Check Your 2025 KCSE Results Online
Following the official release, candidates can now access their results through the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) online portal at results.knec.ac.ke.
To successfully view the results, candidates are required to enter their index number and names exactly as they appeared during KCSE registration.
