The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results for the 2023 form four candidate class are out.
As announced by the Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu while releasing the results at Moi Girls High School, Eldoret, unlike in past years when the results have been accessible by sending a predetermined keyword accompanied by the respective candidate’s index number to a dedicated premium SMS short code, this year, the results are only accessible via an online portal on the KNEC website.
This is the portal where you can query the 2023 KCSE results.
Despite assurances from the Cabinet Secretary that they have engaged the relevant experts to make sure the site remains accessible, that is not the case as of the time of publishing this article. So, those interested in getting the results, which should be a considerable number as those who sat the examination last year were about 900,000, will have to keep refreshing their browsers and hoping for the best.
Note: While the portal can be easily accessed from a desktop browser, for mobile users, who should be the majority, switching the mobile browser to a desktop mode is highly recommended until the site is largely accessible.
