Two Rivers Mall, Kenya’s biggest shopping mall, has officially opened its doors in the capital, Nairobi. Being one of the biggest real estate developments in the East African nation and the biggest shopping mall in Sub-Saharan Africa outside of South Africa, getting around the mall may prove to be quite a chore for the first time or even in subsequent visits.

Which is why there is a companion application that seeks to complete the shopping experience and make it hassle-free.

The application, simply called Two Rivers Mall, is simple and easy to navigate. A slide out hamburger menu allows users to access all the included features.

Features of the app include navigation through the mall’s 67,000 square metres retail space, a parking locator (and parking payment option as well), access to a calendar of events taking place at the mall, the ability to join the loyalty club, access to promotions and even a way to provide feedback to the retail space’s management.

A tab in the app that lists shops is just that, a list. Users get contact details of respective stores renting out space at the mall and nothing else, meaning that there is clearly room to get the app to do more than just offer information.
