There’s a new software update available for owners of the Tecno Camon X Pro arriving as version V255.
On top of installing a new Android security patch level dated June 05, 2019, this same update also tags along updated APN parameters and further updates 3rd-party APK for better user experience.
As per the changelog captured in the screengrab below, the new update also solves legal issues related to the Camon X Pro, but there’s still no fix for the missing fonts’ bug affecting the device since the previous release.
We had captured some of your rants in the Tecno Forums, but this was only specific to the Camon 11. At the time, little did we know the issue is also affecting other users. Hopefully, Tecno will fix the issue in the next update.
The update weighs 176.2MB and since it’s airborne, it will take several days before all Camon X Pro units receive the download notification.
