Infinix is gearing up to release its latest Note smartphone series, the Infinix Note 30 series, in Kenya soon. Being a series, it obviously comprises a number of devices. An official global launch of the series is expected any time soon even though some of the devices, like the Infinix Note 30i, have already started showing up on Infinix’s website.
A standard Infinix Note 30 (in both 4G and 5G variants), a VIP and a Pro variant are also on the cards. As has been the case with Infinix previously, the Infinix Note 30 VIP should be the hero of the lineup.
Now, while we have a rough idea of what Infinix will offer as far as the device selection in the series goes, thanks to an official statement from Infinix, we have a confirmed feature: the audio on the smartphones will be tuned by JBL. We have known as much since Infinix revealed the same at the start of the year at CES but, well, does it hurt to get some confirmation some few months down the line and when we are this close to getting our hands on the Infinix Note 30 series?
“Users can look forward to an upgraded audio experience in the next generation of Infinix’s Note Series, thanks to this exciting new collaboration with JBL,” the statement reads.
“Our hardware expertise combined with JBL’s acoustic technology means we can provide an enhanced audio experience to customers worldwide. With a device that delivers upgraded sound quality, we’re confident we’re in exceeding users’ expectations,” Liang Zhang, the Deputy General Manager at Infinix is quoted in the statement.
“When building the Note series, Infinix collaborated closely with JBL engineers to optimize the software system of their new generation Note Series. The software processing within the Note series was tuned to deliver JBL’s signature sound that ensures well-balanced mid-tones as well as rich bass, along with high-quality and faithful sound reproduction,” the statement continues.
“Incorporating advanced audio processing engineered and perfected by JBL, the new Note Series with Sound by JBL will deliver enhanced audio with distortion-free volume, deeper bass and JBL’s signature sound that users will enjoy, especially when listening to music or watching videos. This technological breakthrough demonstrates Infinix and JBL’s commitment to providing innovative products with superior sound quality.”
Also revealed by Infinix to be coming to the next Note series smartphones is its newly-announced fast charging technology, All-Round FastCharge which supports wired charging speeds of up to 260W and wireless speeds of up to 110W.
However, we don’t expect the Note series devices to hit the peak 260W charging but be somewhere close since the Note series has to stay within the budget sweet spots it’s been known for over the years even while Infinix tries to woo customers with a more impressive expanded feature set. How close? Unfortunately, we will have to wait for a few more days to find out.
“All-Round FastCharge isn’t just about speed, it also includes features like bypass charging (this disconnects the battery once charged and runs the phone on electricity from the charger). The tech also works with industry-standard protocols like USB Power Delivery 3.0 and can do reverse charging too. Battery longevity is also in focus and the system keeps the temperature low and supports intelligent night charging,” Infinix says.
