Airtel Kenya subsidiary Airtel Money Kenya has launched a campaign dubbed ‘Rudishiwa Transaction Fee Campaign’, through which its customers will be refunded their withdrawal transaction fees as airtime.
“Airtel Money customers who withdraw as little as Kes 50 from any Airtel Money agent will be refunded their withdrawal transaction fees. The refund applies to any withdrawal charge up to the maximum daily limit of Kshs 250,000 per day,” Airtel says in a statement.
“For example, a customer withdrawing Kes 1,000 incurs a Kshs 25 withdrawal charge. Under the Rudishiwa Transaction Fee Campaign, that customer will now receive Kshs 25 as airtime, which they can use for calls, data bundles or SMS.”
“To enjoy these benefits, Airtel customers are encouraged to visit any Airtel Money agent countrywide then dial *334# or use the Airtel App to get started.”
