Chinese device maker Huawei is set to unveil one of its latest mid-range smartphones, the 2017 edition of the GR5 device it introduced to the Kenyan market last year, tomorrow at an event in Nairobi to be presided over by its country manager, Mark Hemaobin.

The 2017 edition of the device brings with it several updates including the most visible one, dual cameras at the back of the device which should be better than those on last year’s model.

Memory has also been boosted with the new device doubling the base internal storage and increasing the RAM by an extra gig (or two if you will get the 4GB model – which is not sure to be made available in the Kenyan market).

Check out the full Huawei GR5 (2017) specifications here.

The device has been on pre-order through network operator Safaricom for the last few weeks.

It will cost Kshs 35,000.
