Google Sheets app gets support for enterprise-friendly spreadsheet features

Google’s suite of productivity apps, Docs, Sheets and Slides, is one of the best (second only to Microsoft’s, in my opinion) you can get on the Play Store despite the many alternatives available. If you have been using it for your spreadsheet needs then there’s some good news.

You can finally be able to do this:

And this:

All from your Android smartphone. Without much effort.

Think about that for a minute.

And it is not just that. You can do several other things as well thanks to the latest update from Google:

  • Use a mouse with the Sheets app – yay for us Remix mini users
  • View and select existing custom colours in the Sheets app
  • Drag and drop rows and columns in the Sheets

Yup, your Android device just became more powerful without doing much.
