Does your Android smartphone fulfill any of the following requirements?

  • Run Android Lollipop (5.0) or higher?
  • Has at least 3GB RAM ?
  • Has an Adreno 530 GPU or better, a Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or better?

If your answer is in the affirmative for all the requirements then you are in luck.

Two months since popular battle royale game Fortnite debuted on the Android platform, when it first showed up on the Galaxy Note 9 and a handful of other Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the game is finally open to all compatible devices.

Previously, even after moving away from the Samsung exclusivity, Fortnite was limited to just several devices from a handful of device makers. Even for those, users had to sign up to be accepted into the beta programme. Now, going forward, the Epic Games game is open to users of all compatible devices on the platform.

As was the case before, Fortnite remains unavailable on the Google Play Store and you’ll have to grab the installer from Epic Games’ website.

Fortnite remains in beta.
