The phones started selling in other parts of the world earlier this month, but there's still no official announcement from Samsung Mobile Kenya.

Earlier this year, Samsung brought the entry-level Galaxy A05, Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 to Kenya. Following up on this, the latest mid-range devices in the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55, are now available to buy in the country. But unlike their counterparts, Samsung Mobile Kenya hasn’t made any official announcements of these devices despite their local availability, although there have been some subtle hints at their imminent launch.

At this point, it’s unclear why the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 started silently selling in Kenya. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will make an official announcement of their availability in the country. But so far, you can grab either phone from multiple retailers across the country or through their respective online shops.

The phones are already selling through Samsung’s official local partner, Samsung BrandCart, priced at Kshs 51,995 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the Galaxy A35. There’s no 128GB model available here, so you’ll have to settle for this or check out other retailers that I’ll mention in this article. As for the Galaxy A55, the 8/128GB variant is going for Kshs 56,995 while the 8/256GB variant is valued at Kshs 62,995.

As mentioned, Samsung BrandCart isn’t the only place you can buy the Galaxy A55 or Galaxy A35. The phones are also available to buy at other authorized Samsung retailers, namely Phone Place Kenya, Tujengane, Infogram and Fonexpress. Below you can find the price of the Galaxy A55 and A35 in each of these stores.
