Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 users in Kenya are now receiving the One UI 6.1 update. This update brings new features powered by artificial intelligence in what Samsung calls Galaxy AI to streamline your smartphone experience.
Key highlights include AI tools for effortless searching with Circle to Search and real-time translations for phone calls and in-person conversations. After the One UI 6.1 update, you should easily capture and translate text from images, and even summarize web pages on your Z Fold 5 with the help of Browsing Assist. Samsung Notes also gets smarter with Note Assist, including automatic formatting, summarizing, and transcription of voice recordings.
The One UI 6.1 update also brings enhancements to existing photography tools and further lets you get creative with unique wallpapers. The update also brings customizable alarm alerts using images, videos, or AR emojis. There are also new calendar stickers, revamped settings, and more reminder options to help you keep track of your schedule.
Seamless sharing of files with other Android devices just got better thanks to the integrated Google Nearby Share, and you can now quickly change modes directly on the home screen with the new Mode widget. Samsung continues to prioritize security and user experience with enhanced data protection in Samsung Cloud, streamlined sign-ins with passkeys, and improved exercise tracking in Samsung Health.
The update has just been published on the official page, so you can check out the full changelog here. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check if the One UI 6.1 update is available for your Galaxy Z Fold 5 by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install.
