Samsung’s March and April 2024 security update live for Galaxy A54, A53, A34, A33, and A24 in Kenya

Samsung continues its strong commitment to security with the rollout of new updates for multiple Galaxy smartphones in Kenya. The latest April 2024 security update is now available for the Samsung Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A34, and Galaxy A24, while a March update lands on the Galaxy A33 5G.

The April update incorporates a number of critical fixes. It patches 27 moderate vulnerabilities along with a single critical vulnerability. Additionally, Samsung has addressed 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items to further enhance its devices’ security posture.

The March update for the A33 5G also includes similar security improvements. Even though a little older than latest April update, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t install it once the OTA notification arrives.

Users of the Galaxy A54, A53, A34, A24, and A33 5G in Kenya should start receiving update notifications if they haven’t already. You can also manually check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software Update > Download and install.

The Galaxy A14 4G and A14 5G variants along with other Samsung Galaxy A models sold in Kenya are expected to receive new updates in the near future, although we cannot guarantee whether it’ll be March or April 2024 update. Heck, some may even have to wait for the May or June update depending on their support.

These updates demonstrate Samsung’s continued dedication to providing timely security patches for its devices. Be sure to install updates as soon as possible to ensure the best possible protection for your devices.
