Samsung has just rolled out a significant security update for Galaxy A12 users, reinforcing its commitment to keeping its devices safe and secure. The update, which brings the May 2024 security patch, addresses 45 security vulnerabilities, enhancing the overall security of the smartphone.

This is the first of two planned security updates for the Galaxy A12 this year, as part of Samsung’s biannual security update schedule. The update, labeled as version A125FXXS5CXE1 and based on Android 12, has already been released in Europe, Asia, and the US, with a Kenyan rollout expected soon.

This move shows Samsung’s dedication to ensuring the longevity and security of its devices, even for aging budget-friendly models like the Galaxy A12. For users, this translates to a safer and more reliable smartphone experience.

While the update has not yet reached Kenyan variant of the phone, Galaxy A12 owners can anticipate its imminent release. Keep an eye on your device’s settings for the notification to update and enjoy enhanced security.
