Video calling finally comes to Signal Messenger, still in beta
FacebookTwitterWhatsApp

Signal, the popular secure messaging application, has been testing a video-calling feature for the last one month.

It looks like Open Whisper Systems, the company behind Signal and responsible for the Signal encryption protocol, is finally ready to roll out the feature to everyone.

The Android app’s video calling features are no longer in beta and that means that Signal users will be able to chat on video without any barriers. After all, support for end-to-end encrypted video calls is enabled throughout.
