Deal: Grab the Galaxy S9 for a mere 5 bob on Jumia
FacebookTwitterWhatsApp

With Jumia, just about everything is possible, right?

Well, if you can’t find any reason to support this statement, how about this: Beginning 11:59 pm on March 18, 2018, you could walk away with a brand new Samsung Galaxy S9 for a mere sh 5. It’s not an easy sail, though. To grab one of these latest and greatest smartphones from Samsung, you’ll have to literally hunt them down (online, of course).

It’s not the first time Jumia is holding these treasure hunts. At the time of launching the Huawei Mate 10 last year, the giant online retailer put the phone up for grabs for just sh 1,000. With this sh 5 deal for the Galaxy S9, though, Jumia is close to matching what Safaricom’s Masoko offered last year with 1 bob deals on a good number of flagship phones.

We are yet to establish the number of Samsung Galaxy S9 handsets that will be up for grabs. Last year’s Mate 10 treasure hunt saw five lucky winners buy the phone at sh 1,000. Whether the retailer will also limit the available S9 units to 5 is still unknown. Also, we still don’t know if the deal will include the bigger S9+, but it’s unlikely.

SUNDAY 18TH at Exactly 11:59 PM. Will you be awake to get it? #JumiaMobileWeekKE https://t.co/DnaIhQbT1H pic.twitter.com/Js52AyLxNi

To get a better idea of what you are getting in the Galaxy S9, check out our specifications page here. Note that if you miss out on this deal, which won’t be easy to get, be ready to part with a pretty penny for either phone.

During the same time of this Galaxy S9 deal, Jumia will also be holding a mobile week promo with huge discounts on thousands of phones at your disposal. The promo will run from March 19th to 25th.
