Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9+ will set you back a pretty penny in Kenya

Samsung Galaxy S9 was launched in late February and started selling in Kenya a few weeks later priced at Sh 85,000, but today, you can have this same phone in its full glory at a mere Sh 29,999. Yes, you read that right! The Galaxy S9 is now selling at a whopping discount of Sh 55,000, but as always with cool deals, there’s a catch. Or perhaps two.

Apparently, the deal isn’t going to last forever, rather, Jumia Kenya, the retailer offering the deal as part of the ongoing celebrations for its 6th anniversary in the business, says the offer is limited to availability of stock. Also, the retailer says the sale is based on a FIFO (first in first out) basis, meaning you’ll have to hurry to get the deal.

SAVE THE DATE! JULY 25TH FROM 8AM.
JUMIA EXPLOSION DAY!

As a flagship phone, you are getting the best in class with the Galaxy S9. The device packs a 5.8-inch QHD+ display screen, an Exynos 9810 processor mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. There’s a 12MP camera on the back with a variable aperture while the front gives you an 8MP sensor for selfies. Keeping the S9 alive is a 3000mAh battery unit and to make the deal even sweeter, there’s a free car charger to accompany the phone.
