We are talking about streaming video-on-demand service Showmax which has been available in the country for over 2 years now.
Showmax, as many may already know, offers subscribers access to thousands of hours of video content in the form of movies, TV shows and more through various platforms. While that is so, Kenyans, and particularly Nairobians, have a chance to meet the Showmax brand and its ambassadors in person this December.
Showmax is the title sponsor of this year’s Movie Jabber Expo (MJX) Cosplay tournament which will be held on December 15th at the Century IMAX at Garden City Mall.
Now, for those of us who like our tech, science fiction is easily one of those areas we treat to as means of creatively geeking out. Some of that will be on offer at Garden City as the first two episodes of the hilarious sci-fi series Future Man will be screened. This is in addition to the gaming, cosplay, comic books and more that will surely whet any nerd’s appetite.
While the registration deadline for the tournament already passed, all you need to do is show up and have fun, away from our usual tiny mobile screens or home setups, depending on where it is that you find convenient to get your tech and movie fixes. More information on the event can be found here.
