After two weeks of pre-orders, Huawei P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite are now available for purchase countrywide. The phones were first unveiled exactly a month ago in Paris, France, but the local launch event took place a couple of weeks later.
To recall, the P30 Lite costs Kshs 29,999, the P30 has a price tag of Kshs 72,999 while the Pro will set you back a cool Kshs 99,999. From the look of things, it’s not just Safaricom that is slashing Kshs 1,000 off the P30 Lite price, but also Jumia and possibly all other partner shops. This is also true for the P30 and P30 Pro, with each getting a discount of Kshs 1,000.
Huawei has always tuned its P series of smartphones to deliver the best in photography. We saw it with the Huawei P20 family and it’s, once again, happening with the latest Huawei P30 series. Compared to last year, the P series has arrived quite early around here, which says a lot about the importance of the Kenyan market to Huawei.
A lot has already been said about them and unless you just came from a cave, you’ve definitely bumped into a thing or two related to the P30 devices.
