I have had the Infinix Hot 7 with me for more than a fortnight now and a deeper look at it is on the way.

However, in the meantime, what you get inside the box is nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual stuff: a pair of basic earphones, a charging brick and the accompanying cable (microUSB) and some documentation. Curiously, the documentation now includes something to do with Infinix’s XClub forums – I haven’t seen that before.

Other extras are a clear case and a screen protector.

As can be seen in the video below, for some early shoppers, the package also included a gift hamper from Infinix – a nice touch, I must say.

The gift hamper, since it is not highlighted in the video above, includes a branded ring holder for the phone or any other phone where you may want to use it on, a rucksack and the Infinix mascot for showing off on your desk.

More thoughts, feature walkthroughs and my impressions of the device, later.

The Infinix Hot 7 comes in two variants: one with 1GB RAM and another with 2GB RAM. They cost Kshs 10,000 and 11,000 respectively through the Infinix Mall and about the same price in retail stores across the country.
