Tecno Camon CX Air update brings June 2019 security patch, fixes translation bug

Tecno Camon CX Air June 2019 update

It’s been over two years since the Tecno Camon CX Air arrived in Kenya, which easily makes it an out-of-favor handset as far as software updates are concerned. However, Tecno is rolling out a new software update to this device with the latest June 2019 security patch.

The rollout started late last month and the software is arriving as version V169, which, unfortunately, is still based on Android Nougat, the OS that powers the device out of the box.

Even with no OS change, it’s great to see the Camon CX Air receiving a new security update years after it was released.

Also part of this update are bug fixes that include the display issue of translation and legal issues, as captured in the screenshot below.
