New Showmax-M-Pesa deal sees subscribers enjoy more savings

At this time, as the world slowly grinds to a halt thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people are finding themselves forced to limit their movements and, mostly, stay indoors.

As such, now, more than ever before, there is high demand for content to consume while under mandatory or self-imposed quarantine.

Streaming video-on-demand service Showmax, which has introduced new content to entice new subscribers and keep its existing audience base engaged in these times, is taking an extra step and cutting prices for existing and new subscribers.

There is a catch, though.

For subscribers – new and old – to enjoy the discounts in question, they will need to subscribe or renew their subscriptions using M-Pesa.

This is as a result of Showmax and M-Pesa renewing their partnership.

Those subscribing for more than a month on either of Showmax’s tiers, Mobile (limited  – see details) or Standard (accessible on mobile devices, PCs, game consoles and smart TVs – up to 5 devices on one account and 2 watching simultaneously) – stand to get between an extra month to a quarter an year of free access.
