It is almost a month since the Huawei Y7p started selling in Kenya.
The device has the distinction of being the first Huawei smartphone to become available in the Kenyan market that arrives without Google apps and services out of the box. Users have to use workarounds to get them or their equivalent where they are not satisfied with Huawei Mobile Services or just want to stick with what they are used to.
Given that TechTrendsKE, TechArena, Tech-ish and Android Kenya have all had the Y7p in for review over the last month, we sought to share our experience using the device and its unique “Google-less” experience. Will this be the norm? The “new normal”?
