Starting today, anyone in Kenya can pre-order any of the two devices in the Infinix Note 8 series in Kenya: the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i.
The pre-orders can be made at any participating outlet countrywide.
The pre-requisite is just Kshs 3,000 for one to reserve their Infinix Note 8 series device.
Infinix is gifting those who pre-order the Infinix Note 8 and/or Note 8i with goodies worth Kshs 5,000 that will be availed as soon as one makes the pre-order – no need to wait till the device is available for pick up.
While we don’t know how much the Infinix Note 8 series devices will cost, we expect them to start at about Kshs 20,000.
The pre-order period runs all the way to October 25th, giving prospective buyers sufficient time to make up their minds and make their orders.
The Infinix Note 8 series is the successor to the Infinix Note 7 that debuted just half a year ago. It brings with it several upgrades to the lineup including a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset in place of the G70 on the Note 7, a larger 5,200mAh battery, dual selfie cameras and a 64-megapixel main sensor at the back in place of the 48-megapixel one on its predecessor.
Following the way of Infinix’s overall flagship smartphone, the Zero 8, we are also seeing USB Type-C make its way to the Note series.
The official reveal of the two devices is expected to happen later this month.
