Almost a year since it revealed the Infinix Hot 9 Play, Infinix is set to reveal the Infinix Hot 10 Play soon.

How soon? Well, we have no idea. There’s no fixed timeline, yet, but teasers making the rounds show that it’s just a matter of days.

This is bearing in mind that the device has already been unveiled in several other markets since January and it is only now that it will be hitting the Kenyan market.

With the “Hot 10” moniker, the Hot 10 Play is a relative of the first members of the Hot 10 series that entered the local market in September last year.

The Infinix Hot 10 Play is expected to bring to the local market more power than the Hot 9 Play did with an upgrade to a MediaTek G series chipset.

The display is unchanged while the memory and storage is still fixed at 2GB and 32GB but with an added option of doubling both for a variant that should cost higher. We are not sure if Infinix will be making both the 32 and 64GB options available locally at this time but those are the kinds of clarifications we expect to get once everything is official.

The mammoth 6,000mAh battery is staying put and, hopefully, users should be able to squeeze even more from it thanks to the updates in the software over the past year.
