Samsung slashes Galaxy Watch 4 price by half as part of Father’s Day sales

Last Sunday was Father’s Day but who says it ended then?

All week long (actually, until July 30th), at Safaricom shops, Samsung Experience stores, Phonelink stores and all applicable retail outlets countrywide, Samsung devices can be had at various discounted rates as the company celebrates fathers in its own way.

The offers are also available on Samsung’s Brandcart-partnered e-commerce portal (see here) as well as Safaricom’s Masoko.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, for instance, is seeing a 50% price slash. There’s a rider to being able to purchase Samsung’s latest premium wearable device at that price, though: you have to purchase a qualifying Samsung Galaxy smartphone. This can be any of the devices in the Galaxy S22 series announced at the start of the year or the foldable – Galaxy Fold3 and/or Galaxy Flip3.

It doesn’t end there. For every purchase of the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy A73, buyers are getting a free Galaxy Fit2 band.

Depending on where one shops, on top of the add-ons and discounts in pricing on accessories, there may also be some discounts on the smartphones themselves. For instance, shopping via Samsung’s online portal, discounts start at 4% on some devices and go all the way to 14% for others.

For instance, the 5G variant of the Galaxy A73 with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage see its price slashed from Kshs 67,000 to Kshs 64,000. The entry-level Galaxy gets a price drop to Kshs 21,000 from a high of Kshs 25,000.

“All of the devices that are part of the Father’s day offer also come coupled with Samsung Care+ that will give fathers peace of mind when it comes to the ownership of a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone,” the company says in a statement.
