Samsung partners with Safaricom to offer Galaxy smartphones for Bonga points

Samsung has joined forces with Safaricom to offer the telecommunications company’s subscribers a chance to purchase Galaxy smartphones by redeeming their accumulated customer loyalty (Bonga) points.

This is being achieved through Safaricom’s long-running ‘Jisort na Bonga’ campaign that the telco has been running to incentivise its customers to part with their Bonga points, a running headache that saw the company introduce expiry dates last year.

“Customers can now utilize their Bonga points for special discounts on a range of Samsung devices at selected outlets. The devices include the Samsung Galaxy A04e, A04, A04s, A14, A24, A34, Z Fold 5, and the Z Flip 5. Customers with substantial Bonga point accumulation can be able to purchase these devices on offer,” a statement from Samsung reads.
