X, the rebranded Twitter, has finally made its way to the big screen with the launch of its X TV app for Android TVs. This means you can now enjoy all your favorite X videos and other content, from hilarious memes to breaking news, on your television.
The X TV app is currently available on LG, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV, with more integrations planned for the future. However, I still don’t have the app on my Chromecast with Google TV (4K), but it’s likely just a matter of time. So far, the app seems to be available for beta testing in the US first before it expands globally.
With the X TV app, you can easily browse through your timeline, view trending topics, and interact with other users. You can also watch X videos directly on your TV, making it a great way to enjoy content in a more immersive experience.

While I don’t see myself using X on my TV, I can understand why others might find it appealing. For those who love to consume content on their TVs, the X TV app offers a convenient way to access their favorite social media platform.
As more integrations become available, it will be interesting to see how the X TV app evolves and whether it can capture an audience significant enough to threaten giants like YouTube. Only time will tell if it will become a must-have app for TV owners.
Unfortunately, folks in Brazil may never watch X videos on TV thanks to the app’s recent ban in the country.
