From X (Twitter) town hall-style Spaces to TikTok dances and skits to walkie-talkie apps, the air of revolution has been ripe in Kenya during the months of June and July driven primarily by mobilization through various tech platforms.
To crown it all, there was even a major internet shutdown in the country, a first for a country that has for long taken pride in being a beacon of democracy in a region plagued military dictatorships, chaos and limited spaces for citizens to express themselves.
