Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is just around the corner, taking place in Paris on July 10th. While the company is keeping some details under wraps, they’ve dropped some interesting hints. As we eagerly await the event set for 4:00 PM local time, the tech world is buzzing with rumors and expectations for new devices, with significant upgrades and more Galaxy AI features.

Of course, there’s always more in store at these events. While Samsung typically unveils its flagship Galaxy S series phones earlier in the year, we could hear about other exciting products like Galaxy foldables, Galaxy Ring, new Galaxy Watch models, and possibly even updated Galaxy Buds.

How to watch Galaxy Unpacked event

The event will be live-streamed on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel, maintaining the tradition of accessibility for a global audience. The video invite is already available on Samsung’s YouTube channel, and the live stream link will be posted soon.

Expected announcements

1. Samsung Galaxy Ring

Samsung is likely to fully launch its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, which was teased at the MWC. The ring, set to debut in black, gold, or silver, will weigh between 2.3g and 3g. It features an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood pressure monitoring, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, movement, sleep tracking, and possibly an “Energy score.” The ring promises up to nine days of battery life and will charge in a case similar to an earbud charging case.

2. Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6

Leaked images reveal a lighter Galaxy Z Fold 6 with sharper corners, an improved aluminum frame, a 6.3-inch cover screen, and a 7.6-inch foldable screen. It will have a triple rear camera setup (50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto) and two selfie cameras (10MP and 4MP). Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it will come in various colors and likely feature a 25W wired charger and a 4400mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 3.4-inch cover screen, a 6.7-inch foldable screen, a larger 4000mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It will have a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 10MP selfie lens. An IP48 rating and a vapor chamber are expected.

3. Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra

The Galaxy Watch 7 will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes with 1.3- and 1.5-inch display options. The Watch Ultra will feature a 1.5-inch display and a new design with rounded-off square corners. Both watches might be powered by the Exynos W1000 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, launching with One UI Watch 6. Features include a BioActive sensor and possibly sleep apnea detection.

4. Galaxy Buds 3 and Pro

The Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro will feature a design similar to Apple’s AirPods with a long stem. The Buds 3 might lack a silicone tip, while the Pro version will have silicone tips and come in a metallic grey finish.

5. Galaxy AI

Samsung’s AI features, integrated across various Galaxy devices, include on-device audio and text translations, photo and video editing, and Google’s Circle to Search feature, setting Samsung’s devices apart with enhanced capabilities. We expect more features to be unveiled alongside the new hardware.
