It’s a New Year!
Before 2024 wrapped up, we sat down (myself, Dickson and Nick) to look back at the year that was, especially in tech in Kenya.
From the popular youth-led protests that rocked the country in June and July, largely powered by online organizing and mobilization, to their aftermath that included a sad new reality for Kenyans when there was an apparent internet shutdown: a shrinking civic space, to the introduction of Starlink kits in the country, we covered it all.
