Infinix just pulled a wild card at MWC 2025, and it’s got everything to do with AI, sunlight, and a phone that practically morphs to match your vibe. If you’re tired of your battery running out at the worst moment or wish your phone could switch colors like a chameleon, you’re in for a treat!

Is your phone now a mini solar panel?

Infinix is diving into solar energy with its new SolarEnergy-Reserving Technology — a fancy name for something that lets your phone soak up light and turn it into extra power. That means it can sip energy from both sunlight and indoor lighting, stretching your battery life and keeping you powered up a little longer.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your phone (or its special case) captures light and converts it into power.
  • AI algorithms make sure the energy is stored efficiently, so you don’t waste a drop.
  • A smart ‘Sunflower’ tech mimics plants that track sunlight, optimizing how your phone absorbs light from different angles.
  • Right now, this tech can store up to 2W of power, which isn’t enough to replace your charger, but it might just save you when your battery hits 1% at the worst time.

And Infinix isn’t stopping at phones — this solar tech could soon make its way to wearables and other gadgets, meaning more of your devices could sip energy from the environment.

Bored of your phone’s look? Let it change on its own

Customization just hit a whole new level with E-Color Shift 2.0, Infinix’s AI-powered trick that changes your phone’s color based on your mood, the weather, or even your wallpaper.

  • Want a different look? Choose from six dynamic patterns and six vibrant color palettes — that’s 30 possible combos.
  • Not in the mood to decide? The AI can tweak your phone’s back color automatically to match your surroundings.

This is next-level personalization — your phone isn’t just a gadget anymore; it’s a fashion statement.

What’s next? A flagship that brings it all together

Infinix isn’t just showing off cool concepts — they’re hinting at something big coming soon. The upcoming Infinix NOTE 50 series, launching at the end of March, will pack some of these futuristic AI and charging features, plus a sleek metal design.

While these features are still in the concept phase, Infinix is clearly dreaming big. Who knows? In the near future, you might just leave your power bank at home and let the sun do the work.
