Google’s upcoming ‘budget’ smartphone, the Pixel 10a has leaked (no surprises here) and it is as disappointing as they come.
According to the well-known leaker Evan Blass, the Pixel 10a has been certified for use on the Verizon network in the United States and with that, we get to see its alleged specifications.

The key features listed include a pOLED 6.3″ FHD+ display that goes upto to 120Hz, 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage, 5,100mAh battery, main 48MP camera with a f/1.7 aperture, 13MP ultrawide camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a front 13MP camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
If you are feeling some deja vu, you are right. The leaked Pixel 10a specifications seem exactly like the Pixel 9a, which Google currently sells. The only differences that I can think of that would separate the 10a from the 9a would be the inclusion of the Tensor G5 processor, newer colours. and the inclusion of Cat19 LTE, which the 9a lacks. Currently, the Pixel 9a sells for $399 on the Google Store, and the leaked Pixel 10a could cost $100 more at launch.
It is still unclear if these are the final specifications for the Pixel 10a, but judging from Google’s record, they might be. The Pixel 9a was launched in March this year and we can expect it to be released in March 2026, ceteris paribus. The Pixel 10 series was well-received by reviewers back in August and we will have to wait and see how this phone will be received by the community.
