Two and a half weeks since it started selling in the country, the OPPO A71 will, starting today, be available to more retailers across the country as it hits the open market.
Mobile network operator Safaricom has been exclusively selling the device since its late September unveiling for Kshs 19,990.
Going forward, the A71 will be available in other stores in addition to Safaricom’s shops.
The OPPO A71 packs a 5.2-inch HD display, an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 13-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
According to a press statement from OPPO Kenya, buyers of the device will still get the same goodies as those who did so/continue to do so via Safaricom like a free case and memory card.
