Samsung Galaxy A6+ users in Kenya can now install Android Pie update

Samsung Galaxy A6+

Samsung has today published the official release notes for Android 9 Pie update for the Galaxy A6+ in Kenya. The update first arrived on the A6+ weeks ago, but it’s only now that Kenyans can download and install the new OS.

Owners of the Galaxy A6+ should watch out for software version A605FJXU3BSD1 and since its airborne, it will take time before all units receive the download notification.

As part of the new rollout, the A6+ is receiving Samsung’s One UI with new settings, new design, and features such as Night mode, improved notifications, a new Samsung keyboard with support for Unicode 11.0, improvements to Always on Display, and so on.

The update also installs a new Android security patch level dated April 2019. Check out the screenshots below for a full changelog.
