The past few weeks haven’t been the best for many users of Tecno phones. The Chinese company rolled out updates to multiple devices that did more harm than good.
Many users have complained about the missing fonts on their Tecno phones. This feature is usually found under Theme & lockscreen setting, but business hasn’t been usual for the past few weeks. This has caused frustrations among fans, who then took to Tecno Spot to vent their anger.
Conveniently, Tecno responded by promising to release a software update that restores the fonts. Not long ago, we reported about the release of this update that restored the missing fonts and apparently, those who have updated their devices aren’t satisfied yet.
It appears the fix came as part of the latest update to the HiOS Launcher, which is possibly the reason the fonts aren’t fully restored. As it stands, font changes only affect the HiOS Launcher (home screen) and not other apps or system for that matter.
Several affected users have already aired their concerns about this supposedly hurried fix, so we expect that Tecno is taking note and that a proper fix is coming soon.
