Oppo Kenya earlier this week unveiled the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom flagship in the country going for a cool Kshs 90,000. The phone is already available for pre-order (until July 28) in shades of Jet Black and Ocean Green and now the Chinese vendor is giving it another paint job, this time with football fans in mind.
As of this writing, football fans in parts of Europe can already grab the FC Barcelona-themed variant of the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. This edition was first released in China and now those in France, Spain, and the Netherlands can already snag one at €899. This converts to a cool Kshs 104,000, which is a pretty insane figure for a device coming from a company that isn’t synonymous with premium pricing.
Other than the appearance of the retail box and the phone itself that features a blue and red gradient and a golden team crest on the back panel, you still get the same Oppo Reno 10x Zoom we saw earlier this week.
The ColorOS 6 skin that runs on top of Android Pie has been themed in the colors of the Spanish giants and so is the retail package, which includes FC Barcelona-themed earphones, plastic case, and a SuperVOOC USB cable.
The internal specs remain unchanged, meaning you still get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset allied to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Photography specs and battery capacity also remain untouched.
What remains to be seen is whether the FC Barcelona-themed Oppo Reno 10x Zoom will also be sold in Kenya, but given it is just leaving China, there’s still plenty of time for Oppo Kenya to wow Barca fans in the country.
The big question is would you buy one at the projected Kshs 100,000+ price tag?
