WhatsApp multiple devices for one account

Notorious WhatsApp tipster, WABetaInfo, a leaker with a decent track record when it comes to uncovering features that are still in development, has some great news for WhatsApp users across the globe.

According to the tipster, the Facebook-owned messaging app will soon allow users to sign in to multiple devices using the same account, just like its already the case with Telegram, one of my favorite chat apps.

It’s already possible to access the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices, but this is currently limited to a phone and web version. But in a future update, the PC version of the app will no longer require the mobile version, instead, it will live on its own. Still, messages on multiple devices will also appear on the phone, probably through some form of syncing.

Thanks to the upcoming UWP application, WhatsApp users will be able to sign into the same account on Android, iOS, and Windows PC and access the chats independently. For someone who always has multiple devices on me, I’m really looking forward to this one update.

At the moment, WABetaInfo says the new feature is still in development and has no ETA as well. But given his track record, we can rest assured that it’s coming, sooner or later.
