The Tecno Camon 11 has been selling locally since late last year. The device recently received a software update that has proven to be quite annoying for early adopters.

According to multiple cases captured in the Tecno Forums, the Camon 11 update removes fonts from the Hi Theme, leaving users contemplating on downgrading to the previous software version that worked perfectly.

For a device that hardly receives software updates, Tecno should not be getting things wrong with one of the few updates it decides to send our way.

On the brighter side, a fix is said to be coming soon, at least if the moderators are to be believed. As for how soon the update will come, we can’t promise anything.

Meanwhile, you might want to try a full factory reset if you have more issues to deal with after the update, but be sure to create a backup of your files before the reset.

What’s your experience after installing the latest software update on the Tecno Camon 11?
