One of the standout features of Samsung Galaxy A80 is the rotating main camera that doubles up as a selfie shooter. It had been rumored that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 would borrow this incredible design when it arrives, but it seems Samsung has other ideas.
A leaked case alleged to belong to the Galaxy A90 reveals a vertical setup located in the middle of the back panel with three lenses of 48MP + 12MP + 5MP. This is the camera that is expected to get the so-called Tilt OIS tech whereas the other variant, the 5G one, will only get a tri-lens 48MP + 8MP + 5MP setup.
While the above details were attached to the rotating camera, it’s possible that the same features should still be retained even if the setup is different. Speaking of different, the leaked case also reveals a full-screen front panel with no cutout, suggesting the Galaxy A90 could be Samsung’s first with a pop-up selfie camera.
The image also reveals an under-display fingerprint scanner, volume and power buttons to the right and perhaps a Bixby button to the left.
If other rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy A90 will be the first in the A series to use a flagship processor, the Snapdragon 855 and also the first from Samsung to support 45W fast battery charging technology.
