Listen up Nokia 6.1 users, it’s your turn to eat!

After HMD Globla provided the Android 10 updates for the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia 7 Plus, according to the company’s update roadmap, only the Nokia 6.1 remained. At least for the first batch of devices that were meant to get their upgrade to Android 10 this early in the new year.

That has come to pass.

Users of the Nokia 6.1 can expect the Android 10 update to start hitting their devices any time from now, according to HMD Global.

The Android 10 version for Nokia 6.1 is V4.10C.

The update clocks in at 1.4GB and, like the other two devices that HMD Global has updated over the last few days, it also arrives with the December 2019 security patch and not the January 2020 one.

Availed locally in April 2018 with a price tag of Kshs 29,000, the Nokia 6.1 improved upon its terrible predecessor even though it stuck with a feeble battery. The device has already seen its better days but this update should make things better for its users with the battery improvements that Android 10 brings.

The device had received its Android Pie update back in November 2018.
