Infinix, the Transsion Group brand widely known for its youth-centric smartphones and accessories, is set to unveil a new product in the local market.
That new product segment offering from Infinix is a smart TV. Specifically, the Infinix X1 series. The company has another TV series, the Infinix S1, that has made its way to other African markets like Nigeria.
As per the information we have at this time, the Infinix smart television will come in 32 and 43-inch screen sizes.
Another Transsion Group brand, Syinix, which specializes in budget television sets, recently unveiled its latest TV lineup which, for the first time, brings the Android TV experience to its users and provides one of the most affordable means of getting into the Android TV ecosystem.
At this point in time, we don’t much about the platform that powers Infinix’s upcoming TV lineup but it shouldn’t be long before we find out.
The Infinix smart TVs will be unveiled on September 7th alongside the company’s 2020 flagship smartphone, the Infinix Zero 8.
