At the end of 2021, realme unveiled the C25Y, its latest budget smartphone in the Kenyan market.
The realme C25Y features a 6.5-inch HD+ display, 4GB RAM and a choice of 64 and 128GB storage.
It has a 50-megapixel AI triple camera setup comprising, obviously, the 50-megapixel primary sensor with 4x digital zoom, a 2-megapixel black and white sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is an 8-megapixel in-display selfie-shooter on the front.
The device’s 5,000mAh battery unit supports 18W fast-charging using the included charger and cable. According to realme, the device can stay on standby for up to 48 days. That number rises all the way up to just under 60 days if the super power-saving mode is turned on when the device is at 5%.
The realme C25Y runs on Android 11 with the R edition of the realme UI layered on top.
There’s a Unisoc T610 chipset powering things under the hood.
