The realme C35, one of the brand’s latest affordable devices, is finally available for purchase in the country.
“realme C35 is a symphony of all young users needs-the slimmest phone in segment with a new right-angle bezel as thin as 8.1mm, powerful camera, excellent battery performance and dynamic glowing design that makes it look futuristic and trendy to show your personality,” reads a statement from realme Kenya sent to newsrooms last week.
“The realme C35 has done a great job of combining a visual experience with a comfortable feel. Hence, it is the slimmest phone in segment,” the statement adds.
Here’s what we had to say about it when word of its (then) impending launch went around:
The realme C35, which was launched at the start of the year, features a 6.6-inch【17 cm】 Full HD+ display, a Unisoc Tiger T616 chipset, a choice of 64 and 128GB storage options, 4GB RAM and a 5,000mAh battery.
On the camera front, it packs a 50-megapixel main sensor at the back that is seconded by a pair of macro (2-megapixels) and depth (0.5-megapixels) sensors. There’s an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
The C series is realme’s entry-level device lineup and this can be seen in the features and specifications available. For instance, video recording of the back cameras is capped at 30 frames per second in 1080p while, on the front, the same is capped at a similar frame rate in 720p.
There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor (on the power button) as well as support for 18W fast-charging using the included accessories.
The device comes in two colour options: Glowing Black and Glowing Green.
The device is going for Kshs 21,200 and is available for purchase in physical retail stores as well as online on popular e-commerce portals.
