The Nokia G11 Plus is now available for purchase in Kenya.
Unveiled at the end of June, the Nokia G11 Plus adds to the growing list of lower mid-range Nokia smartphones available in the Kenyan market.
At its Kshs 18,000 price tag, the Nokia G11 Plus is the smartphone from Nokia that immediately follows the Nokia C21 Plus released to the local market back in July. Above it in the pecking order is the Nokia G21 smartphone that was launched in Kenya in April.
The Nokia G11 Plus packs a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera at the back backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a Unisoc T606 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It has IP52 rating and, unlike the C21 Plus, has a USB port for charging and data transfer
The device is powered by Android 12.
“Thanks to the two-year software upgrade promise Nokia G11 Plus comes with, you can already look forward to the fresh features and innovations the next Android version will bring,” a statement from HMD Global, the device’s makers, reads.
The device will receive security updates for 3 years.
While a gorgeous Lake Blue colour option exists in the global market, so far, we only have confirmation of the Charcoal Grey colour option being available in the Kenyan market.
