Chinese smartphone brand Infinix has partnered with American audio equipment maker JBL to tune the speakers of the next generation of its Note series devices.

While the news, out of CES 2023 where an Infinix smartphone with JBL-tuned audio bits has been on display, don’t tell us more about what to expect, it is expected that we will have all our answers when the next Note device is ready for show time some time in the next quarter.

Until then, we can only speculate as to where else the sound tuning by JBL will be going on Infinix devices besides the Note series.

These kinds of partnerships are commonplace in the smartphone industry with Samsung partnering with AKG to tune the sound on its flagship devices as well as ear buds and, Taiwanese device maker HTC, in its heydays, leading the way with Beats audio. AKG is part of the Harman group which also owns JBL and is a subsidiary of Samsung.
